This course is a great first step into the world of coffee and is a must for casual enthusiasts and seasoned pros alike. This course can be taken with or without SCA accreditation and can be used towards the SCA Diploma.
It charts coffee’s journey from its origins in Ethiopia to the major commodity it is today, enjoyed worldwide. From coffee process, roasting, brewing to tasting, this course gives a general overview of coffee’s supply chain.
This half day course also includes a “coffee cupping” which allows you to taste the various flavours of coffee.
There is an online written exam administered upon the completion of the course.
